Working from the perspective of long-term owner and operator of the facility, our focus is on enabling the real estate to enhance the performance of our facilities, with particular attention to the comfort of our residents or tenants. Our team provides comprehensive design direction and manages the activities of all required consultants and vendors throughout the construction process. We develop a shared budget and schedule with all team members and work proactively to ensure that all team members align their performance to the team’s commitment. On the front end, we oversee and ensure the procurement of all necessary regulatory approvals and permits. On the back end, we obtain all certifications and warranties related to the opening and operation of the facility. Our ultimate goal is a seamless transition from construction to operation in such a manner that our residents or tenants move-in on time with every expectation exceeded.
On behalf of our investors, Sonata identifies and acquires strategic and value-added assets:
Sonata manages the due diligence process to confirm the quality of the targeted asset and develops a proactive strategy for the asset. Sonata also sources debt and equity capital for use in our development and acquisition projects. We assume responsibility for entity formation and the financial structuring of each investment opportunity. Sonata identifies and procures the qualified investors and lending partners necessary to execute the investment.

Sonata Senior Living provides comprehensive management services to each of our developed or acquired assets through wholly owned subsidiaries.
For senior housing communities, we oversee day-to-day operations of the community including administrations, marketing, resident care, dietary, resident activities, housekeeping and environmental services.
